There are two steering wheels, and all sailing functions are led to the helm stations. This includes all sheets, mainsail halyard, mainsail reefing line, and furling lines for the J1, self-tacking J2, Code 0 and asymmetric gennaker. Four electric winches allow very easy handling. **How about the mainsail reefing and furling system?** The boom is equipped with racks to increase the lazy bag's size and spread the lazy jacks further apart. The mainsail stacks easily into the oversized lazy bag system. The single-line reefing system works well in all conditions, eliminating the need to go to the mast. **How do you manage power on long-distance cruises?** All Pegasus yachts have a diesel generator, a secondary alternator, walk-on solar panels and shore power chargers/inverters as standard. The Pegasus 50 has solar 24 V/764 Wp and a WhisperPower M-GV5 Piccolo 230 V/3.5 kW generator. The Pegasus 67 has solar 24 V/3,100 Wp and a WhisperPower Piccolo 12 (9.6 kW generator). **Is there a watermaker?** Yes. The Pegasus 50 has a Schenker ZEN 50 l/h. The Pegasus 67 has two Schenker ZEN 50 l/h (100 l/h combined, redundant). **What is a gimbaled settee?** A carbon fibre saloon settee and table that rotates electrically ±10° on the longitudinal axis to compensate for heel. Reduces fatigue and seasickness on passage. **What are the benefits of the tandem keel?** Twin centreline fins joined by a lead bulb. Increases lateral resistance and lift upwind, reduces leeway, and improves manoeuvrability at low speed in confined spaces. **What is the material of the hull?** Vacuum-infused carbon/glass hybrid laminate with a PVC core and vinylester resin.
